Boboutic FW 15/16 creates geography rather than architecture, it builds up the form in virtue of the surface. The items in the collection, ranging from sweaters to coats to wide leg pants, all share a quintessential evocative kernel. Soft yarns interwoven in a woolen grid structure allow the knit to fall into shape, fashioning distinct garments with a fine, light weight that are soft to the touch and captivate the eye. The jacquards are landscapes inhabited by imaginary creatures, merging tone upon tone and embossed with shiny weaves; colours span from black to blue, green and grey, as reddish streaks run across in a riveting combination of fibers. Cashmere gauze, yak, chenille and ultrafine merinos create a marvel of unusual textured surfaces.
