support act Davide Savorani

Once I found a piece of meteor on my way back home. When I touched it, I could still feel the weight of its fall, and the temperature of the space was still running on its surface, like a wave. I lifted it up, until its shadow hid me from the sunlight.

Davide Savorani is a visual artist.

After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna (IT), he has performed extensively in projects by Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, Kinkaleri, ZimmerFrei, Open, Invernomuto and Michele Di Stefano/mk.
Savorani creates installation-based work involving a variety of media: from drawing to photography, from sculpture to performance. His practice reveals an active, relational and process features as response to the notion of the exhibition space meant as a static area for inactive objects.
He has taken part in several group exhibitions, including: REVISIT, Overgaden, Copenhagen (2014); Urban Bodies, Museo Villa Croce, Genoa; Prune in the Sky, Toves Galleri, Copenhagen; Not an Image But a Whole World, Kunstraum, Wien (2012); The Inadequate, 54th Venice Biennale / Spanish Pavilion (2011); Against Gravity, ICA, London (2010); HaVE A LoOk!
